Hot water issues plagued the stay, and despite fixes, the experience was marred by an unreliable shower that leaked onto the floor. During the stay, renovation noise from the third floor included drilling and hammering, which felt unfair given the room rates. Breakfast options were minimal, offering only one choice from a limited menu, which simply didn't match expectations for a boutique hotel.

I almost considered giving this place a good review, but the empty gestures of the staff pushed me over the edge. just utterly absurd.

Staying at Maison Italia 1029 was a delight. The location in Barrio Italia really immersed me in the local vibe, surrounded by lively bars and charming restaurants. My Double Room with Terrace was beautifully decorated and comfortable, making it a great retreat after a day of exploring. Enjoying breakfast in the café downstairs was a highlight—plenty of delicious options, and the service was impeccable. The staff's willingness to help with renting bikes added a personal touch, making my stay feel special. On the downside, the room layout was a bit quirky, with the toilet and sink in a separate space from the shower, which could take some getting used to. Overall, I loved my stay and would happily return to this cozy boutique hotel.

The Double Room with Terrace had awesome amenities like a private bathroom, air conditioning, and outdoor furniture. It was nice to have a coffee machine and flat-screen TV too. Enjoyed breakfast with plenty of choices in the on-site café. The neighborhood was charming, with cafes and shops all around, making it fun to explore at any hour.

Had an excellent experience with an amazing breakfast, especially the cinnamon pastry! The terrace room design was beautiful and clean, but the air conditioning was a bit noisy. Would definitely return!

The room was super comfy and really clean. The staff helped me out with gluten-free breakfast options, which was a nice touch. One thing tho, the shower was a bit underwhelming—could use more pressure. Still, loved the chill atmosphere and would def come back if I can! :)
